MDV funds new racing game - Colin McRae: Dirt 2
Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysia Finance Ministry, is an innovative financier and development facilitator for the ICT and high-growth sectors.
Now, MDV will spend RM36 million (US$ 10 million) to fund the development of popular rally computer racing game - Colin McRae: Dirt 2. The game developer will be the CodeMasters Studios Sdn Bhd, the Malaysia Branch of CodeMasters.
Colin McRae: Dirt 2 is a racing game scheduled to be released in September 2009, and the sequel to Colin McRae: Dirt. This is the first game in the McRae series after Colin's death. It was announced on 19 November 2008 and will feature the late Colin McRae. There will be a new multiplayer mode and it will available on Sony PS3, Windows PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP.
